National Tap Dance Day Celebration
Join us as we celebrate tap dance with a FREE-to-the public Tap Dance Concert at the George Seuffert, Sr. Bandshell in Forest Park, Queens, 5/24/25.
Our Tap Dance Concert will feature:
- World-renowned tap professionals
- Tap dance companies
- Dance studio teachers and students
- Live family-friendly music by DJ Martin Gargulio of MRG Productions
- A special collaborative performance by Singer/Songwriter Frank Persico and #Taplife Company
- Meet a community leader who will be introduced and honored as "A Champion for Tap Dance"
- FREE tap classes will be offered throughout the day, led by #Taplife Company Artistic Director and Queens native, Anthony Lo Cascio, for all attendees.

Seeking both professional and amateur tap dancers. Come dance on our 24' x 10' O'Mara Sprung Wood Floor. Professional tap dancers and Tap Dance Companies can submit by CLICKING HERE.

Be part of history and learn the original Lucky to Be Alive choreography from Anthony Lo Cascio. We will hold four 45 minute LIVE classes via TikTok and Zoom. Reserve a free spot in the Zoom class to get access to all the recordings. Plus, there will be an extra 15 minutes of class time for questions.
