Anthony Lo Cascio

Anthony Lo Cascio, a native New Yorker, has performed, taught, and toured internationally as a tap dancer since 1994 throughout North America and as far as Monte Carlo, South Africa, and the Netherlands. He has opened shows for Natalie Cole, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Stevie Wonder, among others; and has appeared on Regis & Kathie Lee, Good Day New York, MTV Live and more. A New York City cast member, and the first American to earn a standing role in Tap Dogs, Anthony performed with “The Dogs” for close to 17 years.

Teaching, performing & choreographing is truly Anthony’s life passion and the combination of these things led him to the unexpected birth of his own tap company, #Taplife. Once taking on the role of Artistic Director, he also embraced being a producer. His earliest productions include Sounds of a #Taplife and In Good Company, and his fourth music video, #Taplife - Eyes, was awarded “Best Music Video” at the Ocktober Film Festival in New York.

For the past 3 years, Anthony has taught classes online reaching across the globe, curating his own Spotify playlists for each session. Due to their popularity, he will continue teaching them for the foreseeable future.

In addition to the titles of Artistic Director and Producer, Anthony enjoys the role of entrepreneur and is constantly working on new, intuitive, ideas for the dance world and beyond. Most recently, Anthony co-authored the best-selling handbook, “Food As a Prescription: A Handbook For Those Currently On or Prescribed a Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Corn-Free, and/or Dairy-Free Diet." It is a handbook with tips & tricks, anecdotes, and guidance for anyone who has to deal with food/environmental allergies and their caregivers to utilize so they can tap into their healthiest lives.
