"My daughter has been dancing since she the age of 2. Tap has always been her passion. This year, she heard about #TaplifeToo and was intrigued. Nervously, she auditioned and was offered a spot in the pre-professional company which lead to her extreme happiness. It is both challenging and rewarding beyond our expectations. The professionalism and level of respect that she is treated with is incredible. She is also being taught to hold herself to a higher standard when it comes to her level of professionalism and respect for herself, fellow company members and competitors and teachers. This may be one of her most positive experiences to date."
-Theresa T. (parent of dancer)
"It is obvious #TaplifeToo was designed with flexibility in mind & you can see that in features like online tutorials . My son was able to work hard at home and keep up with his practice. Anthony and the #TaplifeToo faculty are always available and he feels comfortable enough to reach out to them with questions any time. Live events like the #GuestSeries classes are included are phenomenal & streamed in our private FB group. This is great when he can't physically attend due to his schedule. In addition, they provide leadership and inspiration, focusing on developing, driven, creative dancers with a strong work ethic. We are so proud to be involved with this company."
-Leigh G. (parent of dancer)
"I cannot begin to tell you how absolutely thrilled I am being involved with #TaplifeToo. This program has allowed my daughter to grow & find her own artistic voice, which in turn, has inspired her to further concentrate on her love for this art form.
She has also gained more confidence in herself and developed a willingness to step outside her comfort zone as a dancer and person. Now she tries things she shied away from in the past. Anthony, Staci, & the #Taplife team truly care for these dancers. They guide & nurture them through things tap dance and beyond, which gives these dancers confidence to try things that they may not have even known was an option.
-Raleigh B. (parent of dancer
"I have nothing but positive things to say about #TaplifeToo. My students have not only improved as tap dancers, but their love & excitement for tap has grown!
I think it is great for students to have the opportunity to learn from so many wonderful instructors, and to see that the tap community expands far beyond our studio walls.
I am also happy to say that my students who are members of #TaplifeToo are taking more tap classes than ever at my studio as well as encouraging others to join tap classes for the first time! #onebigtapfamily"
~Kimberly M. (Studio Owner)
"The #TaplifeToo experience has been outstanding from my perspective as both a dance mom & dance teacher.
Exposure to this caliber of professionalism - the classes and camps, the #GuestSeries teachers, and the performance opportunities provide life lessons these dancers can take with th Established members have all been welcoming, helpful, and inclusive like no other group we've been part of to date. The opportunities for learning and growth are only limited by your individual level of participation and commitment.
I can't recommend this experience enough."
~Kelly J. (Studio Owner & Parent
"I have 2 students that are in #TaplifeToo Company. They have had a wonderful experience. Taking classes with various teachers and learning & performing with dancers from all over the East Coast have made them better dancers, students and performers.
Members are given amazing opportunities on a consistent basis. I highly recommend #TaplifeToo for all of my students as it helps them grow as dancers and human beings. We notice positive changes in the way they take class at the studio. It trickles down to their peers and the younger dancers. It has been positive for our dancers to go outside of our studio to train, perform and grow."
~Danielle D. (Studio Owner)
Taplife Hero Foundation is a nonprofit organization that produces, creates, and promotes positive, thoughtful, and insightful opportunities for people to experience tap dance. While trying to find opportunities for #Taplife Company to perform, we quickly realized the pain points and challenges that the tap dance community faces. We created Taplife Hero Foundation to help alleviate these struggles.
The Foundation uses charity fundraising, along with grant funding, and educational events to help produce its programs, classes (both in-person and remotely). These services provide greater awareness of ways to experience tap dance.
Our mission is to preserve, celebrate, and advance the rich legacy of tap dance as a uniquely American art form, deeply rooted in Black American history and cultural expression. We are committed to cultivating a vibrant community where dancers of all backgrounds as invited to connect, learn, and thrive. Through education, performance, and outreach, we honor the art form of tap and amplify the underrepresented voices of today’s tap artists. Our effort empowers the every generation to engage with this vital piece of America’s cultural heritage.
We are dedicated to fostering inter-generational connections, promoting health and wellness through tap dance, and providing vital programming that is not otherwise available to the general public. We strive to bring the art of tap dance into as many communities and spaces as possible.

"Hi Anthony and the rest of the Taplife company, I attended the Long Island convention in November 2024 and just wanted to express my gratitude for what you guys are doing. I took the teacher class and all those following and brought my student Adriana who was the solo performer in the showcase. This is my second year attending and I already can't wait to attend again next year. The environment that you create is so beautiful and inspiring. It makes my love and appreciation for tap grow each time I think about that day and implement skills into my classes. I could talk for days about my feelings about the energy that you guys bring and the safe space that is created. It really warms my heart and makes me so happy that these opportunities are available and that you guys push how important this education is. I also wanted to thank you for being so supportive of my student who was the only performer of the night. What a beautiful opportunity and moment she got to have. As for my question. I assisted Jill Kenney that day and was curious if there were any pictures or videos from that? Again thank you so much for this amazingness that you have built, and as always I will respect the dance (insert clap) :)" ~Jamie LaGattuta
