Anthony Lo Cascio

Anthony Lo Cascio is an internationally acclaimed tap dancer, choreographer, educator, and producer who has shaped the modern tap dance landscape for over 28 years. As the Founder and Artistic Director of Taplife Company, Anthony has redefined the possibilities of the art form, blending deep-rooted tradition with modern innovation and social impact. 

Anthony’s career has seen him share the stage with some of the greatest musical icons in history. Early in his professional journey, he had the distinct honor of opening for legendary artists including Stevie Wonder, Shirley, Natalie Cole, and Earth, Wind & Fire. 

He holds the prestigious distinction of being the first American to earn a standing role with the International sensation, Tap Dogs. His years touring with the production brought his explosive style and charismatic energy to the world’s most iconic stages, earning him a reputation for unmatched precision and stage presence. 

Beyond his performance career, Anthony spent many years a master teacher and top-tier adjudicator on the national dance competition and convention circuits. Known for his expertise and integrity, he has inspired thousands of young dancers across the country, shaping the next generation of tap artists through his workshops, constructive adjudications, and dedicated one-on-one mentorship program, Taplife Remote. 

As the producer of LIT: A Tap Dance Experience, Anthony continues to build transformative educational and performance opportunities for dancers, teachers, and local companies alike. 

Currently serving as the Executive Director of Taplife Hero Foundation, Anthony champions underrepresented artists and ensures that tap remains a vibrant, inclusive, and accessible art form. With a powerful reputation as both a mentor and an innovator, he stands as one of the most influential and respected figures in the tap dance community today.
